Dr. Michael Conklin – graduated from UC Berkeley School of Optometry with honors in May of 2002 and is an alumni of University of Utah.  He completed residency training in Ocular Disease including glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy at the University of Alabama, Birmingham.Dr. Conklin has been involved in the optical industry for over twenty-six years including all aspects of optometric practice.  He has developed a highly in-depth level of patient care and always takes the time to educate his patients and make sure their questions are answered.  When he’s not practicing optometry, you can often find Dr. Conklin on the slopes of Utah’s ski resorts or cheering on his favorite sports team.  Go Utes!  See Dr. Conklin on KSL: the importance of eye exams for kids going back to school.
Dr. David Morris - graduated from Pacific University (OR) 2008. Dr. Morris recently completed residency in Primary Care Optometry, Ocular Disease, and Specialty contact lens fitting at the John Moran Eye Center in 2009. Dr. Morris is also a University of Utah Alumni.When Dr Morris isn’t seeing patients, he enjoys getting out into Utah’s wilder places as an avid back country skier, bicyclist and runner – sometimes competing in events such as the Ragnar and Lotoja races.
Dr. Jennifer Keiser – earned her Doctor of Optometry in 2008 from Nova Southeastern University. She then completed residency training in Pediatrics and Binocular Vision at the University of Missouri-St. Louis College of Optometry. Her residency provided special emphasis in vision related learning problems. Dr. Keiser is a candidate for Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. She comes from a large family and loves spending time with her many nieces and nephews.
  Dr. Bernadette Lynch - is an alumnus of Tufts University and earned her Doctorate of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry in 2008.  She traveled abroad and across the country, and then completed her residency in Low Vision and Ocular Disease at the Department of Veterans Affairs in Los Angeles.  She enjoys interacting with her patients and making sure they receive the highest level of optical and eye health care that she can provide.Dr. Lynch is fluent in Spanish and frequently travels to El Salvador to participate in yearly eye campaigns with Friends of ASAPROSAR (Salvadoran Association for Rural Health).  After work and on weekends, Dr. Lynch enjoys traveling, swimming, competing in triathlons, hiking, and skiing.
Lindsay Lafeen, ABOC - has been working in Optical since 1998.  She was here in the beginning with Dr. Wirts as the office manager, dispensing optician and contact lens specialist.  She knows her way around the office and is as comfortable fitting new glasses and contacts as she is handling complex insurance and billing questions.   Lindsay received her ABO optician certification in 2006 and is currently attending the University of Utah, studying to become an optometrist herself.
Brian Dobson, ABOC - has worked in advanced optics for over 23 years. He began with complex astronomical optics, and later was granted his national opticianry certification. He specializes in complex lens design and function and is extremely knowledgeable in the latest digital lenses, anti-reflection technology, ultra thin lens design and sun/ski wear.Brian loves kids and has worked with pediatric eyecare for a number of years.  He is accomplished in the unique lens and frame fit needs of our smallest patients as well as difficult high Rx and wrap fits.  In his spare time, Brian enjoys aviation, photography, skiing, amateur astronomy, playing music and concerts (recovering bagpiper!), and skiing with his family.
Lizbeth Martinez, ABOC, NCLE – has worked in optical for three years and received her national certifications in optical dispensing and contact fitting within her first year!  She is an extremely gifted optician, and excels at educating our patients about eyeglass prescriptions and frame features.  Liz is fluent in Spanish - ꜟSi yo hablo Espaňol!- and is a great help with everything from appointment scheduling to lens & frame selection, and even translation during examinations!Liz is currently in school working towards a degree in optometry – and spends much of her time out of the office working towards that goal.  She also enjoys reading, hiking and spending time with her family.
Vanessa Gomez – is the newest addition to Classic Optical.  She is extremely helpful all around the office.  Vanessa is also fluent in Spanish – ꜟSi yo hablo Espaňol! – and extremely helpful to our Hispanic patients.  She is learning the details of opticianry and has a great sense of fashion and style when helping you find the perfect pair of glasses!
